I moved to San Diego back in 2021 and instead of keeping these fun finds to myself, I thought I'd post them here in hopes that one indecisive friend stumbles across this site, gathers the info they need, and picks where the group should eat or drink (or both). The following could be viewed as some type of database and mini-blog. Let’s face it - who doesn’t love a good spreadsheet? I'll try to keep things short and provide links and/or photos when appropriate. It's all a work-in-progress so please bear with me as I attempt to navigate the exciting city of San Diego - my new home for the time being.

🍕 The Eats - restaurants, bakeries, diners, food stands, etc. Trying to reflect mostly “local” places, but I’m learning some places I thought were cool, hole-in-the-wall places are actually chains. Disclaimer: I’m vegetarian, so many of the reviews and recs will reflect that. Not here to push a vegetarian, vegan, or plant-based diet on anyone. BUT if you do decide to incorporate Meatless Mondays to your routine, then let’s be friends.
🍹 The Drinks - Including both non-alcoholic (coffees, teas, juices) and alcoholic (cocktails, beers, wines). It’s not always about the drinks though; sometimes you need the right vibe too.
